The DraftPics Proofless Process
At DraftPics, we do not provide proofs before ordering.
We understand that this is different from what some families may be used to, and for that reason, we want to explain the process clearly.
DraftPics was built around creating bold, handcrafted sports portraits that go far beyond the standard picture day image. Each finished image is individually created using professional lighting, guided posing, custom graphic design, and a polished editing process designed to make every athlete look like a superstar.
Because of the way our process works, traditional proofs are not part of the DraftPics experience.
Why We Don’t Offer Proofs
Our images are not simple snapshots with a basic background dropped behind them. Each DraftPics portrait is a finished creation, built with intention and care.
Providing proofs before ordering would not fit the way our workflow is designed, and it would also create unnecessary delays in delivering completed orders.
Just as importantly, proof images can easily be screenshotted, shared, or used without purchase. Because each DraftPics image is handcrafted and unique, we need to protect the work that goes into creating it.
For those reasons, DraftPics does not provide proofs before ordering.
How Families Can Feel Confident Ordering
Even though proofs are not offered, families are not being asked to order blind.
A sample image style is shown on the order page so you can clearly see the type of finished product being offered. This gives families a strong understanding of the overall look, feel, and quality of the DraftPics style before placing an order.
In addition, parents and coaches are welcome to observe the photography on PhotoDay. This helps ensure smiles, hair, posing, and overall presentation are looking right while the athlete is being photographed.
Our goal is always to create an image families will be proud of.
A Handcrafted Process
Every DraftPics image is created by hand.
That means we are not running orders through an automated system or mass-producing generic templates. We take the time to build each image with the same attention to detail that has become part of the DraftPics experience.
This handcrafted approach is part of what makes DraftPics different — and part of why so many families and organizations continue to trust the process.
What This Means for Your Order
When you place an order with DraftPics, you are ordering the image style shown on the page for your organization or team.
From there, we create your athlete’s finished products using:
- the style being offered for that PhotoDay
- the athlete information submitted with the order
- the image captured on PhotoDay
- the DraftPics editing and design process
This allows us to create a finished product that is polished, consistent, and true to the DraftPics brand.
Trusting the Process
We understand that ordering without proofs may feel unfamiliar at first.
That is why we work hard to make the process as clear and transparent as possible. Families can see the style being offered, observe the photography session, and know that each image will be created with care.
DraftPics is proud to offer a different kind of sports photography experience — one built around strong imagery, a smooth ordering process, and finished products that athletes and families are excited to receive.
In Short
DraftPics does not provide proofs before ordering because our process is handcrafted, our finished images are custom-created, and we need to protect the work that goes into each one.
Instead, we show the image style being offered, welcome parents and coaches to observe on PhotoDay, and focus on creating finished portraits that families can feel proud to own.
That is the DraftPics proofless process.
